The Zarf Collective

The Zarf Collective is a support group for mental health professionals navigating the private practice landscape in India. With numerous mental health practitioners stepping into this highly unregulated space, there is a growing need to come together as a community to support each other and learn from our collective experiences.

It was my first time going to therapy, and I was really worried about how it would go. But I am so lucky to have Mehr as my therapist. Right from the first session, I felt a sense of comfort and acceptance. Her understanding and empathetic nature created a safe space where I could freely  express my thoughts and emotions without the fear of being judged.  Throughout our sessions, Mehr never imposed any of her own ideas or opinions on me. Instead, she skillfully guided me towards self-discovery, helping me find what works best for me. What I really appreciate is how the sessions felt so natural, as if we were just having a normal conversation. Moreover, the therapy sessions over time have cultivated a more positive outlook and attitude within me. They helped me recognise my strengths, appreciate them, and also identify areas I would like to improve and grow. This process has gradually helped me build more clarity and self confidence.
