About

According to the famous analytical psychologist, Carl Jung,

"In all chaos there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order."

When we talk about mental health, we are often referring to the chaos that is present in the mind which shows up in the body and soul when left unexplored. The aim at Chaos to Cosmos is to navigate this chaotic space and find the secret order within. This exploration is not just of the mind but of the body and soul as well, a holistic path taken to understanding the universe within ourselves.

Mehr Lungani is a Founder, Psychotherapist, Healer, Supervisor, and Mentor with a diverse background in trauma-informed therapeutic approaches and holistic healing practices. She holds an MA in Counselling Psychology and practices as a Narrative Practitioner (NPI), Clinical Hypnotherapist (CHI-USA), and a Therapeutic Movement Facilitator (CID-UNESCO) under her own organisation, Chaos to Cosmos. She has also completed her Advanced Training in Queer Affirmative Counselling (University of Delhi) as well as skilled in Internal Family Systems. Further, she is a trained QPR Gatekeeper for Suicide Prevention. She has also worked as a School Counsellor in some of the reputed schools of New Delhi. With over six years of experience in the field of mental health, Mehr believes that each one of us has a story to tell and her work is guided by this curiosity of exploring the stories we tell ourselves. Therapy with her is a journey where the client and the therapist are co-explorers, traversing the landscape of these stories, trying and testing those paths which have been long forgotten and building new paths wherever required. With a practice that is trauma informed, queer affirmative, and neurodivergent friendly, Mehr offers a variety of languages for the clients to converse in - hypnosis, expressive arts, talk therapy, somatic, tarot, movies, books, etc.

She works not just with the mind, but also with the body and soul. Her eleven years of experience as a Tarot and Oracle Card Reader just add to the understanding that there is no correct way to heal. Everyone has a healing language which can change or evolve over time and it is for this very reason that Mehr offers tarot readings not just independently, but also as a part of therapy sessions.

Mehr also has a strong background in offering workshops and trainings on mental health in spaces like schools, colleges, and corporates.

Ria Malhotra (she/her)
Consultant Psychologist

Ria takes an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from psychodynamic,
relational, and depth-oriented perspectives, while integrating elements
of CBT, DBT, and somatic work when supportive. She works with
individuals aged 16 to 55, and supports a wide range of emotional and
psychological concerns—including anxiety, depression, OCD, mood and
personality disorders, substance use, relationship difficulties (platonic,
romantic, or parental), and life transitions.

Therapy with her begins by creating a space where clients feel safe to show up just as they are—without judgment, without the need to be “fixed.” She believes in honouring every part of a person’s experience—their emotions, thoughts, memories, and patterns—as valid and worthy of care. The therapeutic relationship she builds is central to the process: collaborative, dynamic, and deeply human.

Having experienced therapy herself, she understands the vulnerability and uncertainty that can come with sitting in the client’s chair. For many, it can feel uncomfortable or unfamiliar, like being asked to face parts of themselves that have long been avoided. She holds this discomfort with tenderness, knowing how much courage it takes to simply begin, and aims to meet each client with authenticity, warmth, and patience.

At the heart of her work is the belief that the problem is the problem—the person is not. She helps clients gently untangle the shame, blame, and feelings of stuckness they may have internalized over time. Her approach
encourages compassionate exploration and the slow building of insight, regulation, and connection—with oneself and with others. Therapy, for her, is a space where pain and possibility can coexist, and where clients are
supported in moving toward a more grounded, regulated, and authentic sense of self.
